New Google Analytics
Google rolled out a new version of their Google Analytics software earlier this week. So far it seems like a massive improvement over the previous version, mostly due to the excellent graphs they are now presenting. It is an example of the power of great data visualization. I highly recommend you check it out.

New & Improved Bookmarklet
On Friday I released a new & much improved bookmarklet. What’s new? Well if you use the new bookmarklet, a pop up window will appear that shows small previews of the images that are on the current web page. You can then simply point and click on the image you want to submit. You can now also specify the keywords you want to apply to the image straight away. The new bookmarklet makes...

Keywords (or Tagging) support
I’ve rolled out the initial support for keywords or tagging on eye it up! Anyone can add or edit keywords to the images that have been submitted. This could be pretty anarchic, but I’m going to see how people use the feature before locking it down any more. I’m hoping we’ll see wiki style corrections to any abuse… hey, I’m an optimist! If you click on a keyword...

…has now been enabled. You obviously wont score any points if you submit an image anonymously, but the option is there if you want it.

Joining is even easier
A minor tweak to the layout of the site. If you haven’t signed in or are not a member, you now see the form for joining on the main page layout. And yes all you need to do to join is to supply a username and password! The aim of emdedding the joining form (and the feedback form) directly on the main page is to: show how quick and easy it is to join the site provide as much functionality on...

Dexter
Watched a few episodes of Dexter last night, so far it’s pretty good. What really stood out though was the opening credits… really well done and suit the show right down to ground. Check it out if you can.
